This seal is suitable if:
- Your glass is 4mm, 5mm or 6mm thick.
- Your gap is 11mm or smaller.
- You need a soft bubble seal to cushion impact, reduce rattling and help close the gap between shower door edges.
- You are sealing a vertical gap between glass and glass, glass and wall, or glass and a shower door frame.
- You need a seal for a sliding shower door side edge.
- Your gap is slightly uneven or not perfectly straight.
- Your required length does not exceed the selected seal length and can be trimmed to size.
Choose another seal if:
- Your glass is thicker than 6mm.
- Your gap is larger than 11mm.
- You need a magnetic closing seal.
- You need a dedicated bottom water deflector, drip seal or sweep seal.
- Your shower door has a thick metal frame or edge trim that prevents push-fit installation.

Suitable Applications & Installation Tips
The D456S12 clear shower door bubble seal is designed for 4mm, 5mm and 6mm glass where a soft compression seal is needed for gaps up to 11mm.
The 12mm bubble is designed to compress, making it suitable for gaps up to 11mm.
It is especially useful on sliding shower doors and vertical shower door edges, including glass-to-glass, glass-to-wall and glass-to-frame gaps. The 12mm soft bubble compresses against the closing surface to help cushion impact and provide a close seal without normally affecting smooth door opening or closing.
This seal is also suitable for slightly uneven vertical gaps, as the flexible bubble can adapt to minor variations along the edge.
Although it may be used at the bottom of a shower door in some cases, it is mainly recommended for vertical use. It is not designed as a dedicated bottom water deflector. For bottom sealing, a bottom shower door seal or drip seal is usually a better choice.
For best results, start fitting the seal from the bottom of the glass panel. Hook one corner of the seal onto the glass edge first, then gradually push it onto the glass little by little along the edge. Do not start from the middle of the glass edge, as this can make the seal difficult to fit.
