This seal is suitable if:

  • Your gap is approximately 12–35mm.
  • You need a seal for a sauna door, steam room door, bathroom door, or another large gap.
  • You want to stick the seal onto glass, timber, metal or another clean, flat surface.
  • You need a seal for the bottom, top or side of the door.
  • You need a 950mm strip that can be trimmed to size.

Please choose a different seal if:

  • Your gap is smaller than 12mm or larger than 35mm.
  • You need a seal that clips directly onto the glass edge.
  • The fitting surface is uneven, wet, dusty or oily.
  • You need one continuous 2-metre strip with no joint.
  • You need a magnetic seal, bottom drip seal or framed door seal.

Suitable Use + Installation

The S312S1235 is a clear self-adhesive TPE seal for sauna doors, steam room doors and bathroom doors with larger gaps.

It can be fitted to glass, timber, metal or another clean, flat surface. Because it sticks onto the surface, it does not need to clip onto the glass edge. This makes it useful where a normal push-fit glass seal will not work.

The flexible fin covers gaps from approximately 12mm to 35mm. If the fin is too deep for your gap, trim it along the cutting guide lines before fitting.

Before installation, clean and dry the surface fully. Cut the seal to length, check the position first, then peel off the backing tape and fit it in one go.

This is an adhesive seal, so we do not recommend sticking it down, peeling it off and repositioning it several times. This can reduce the strength of the adhesive tape.

For the best hold, align it carefully the first time, press firmly along the adhesive area, and allow 7–10 hours before using the shower, sauna or steam room.
