An F-Shape shower door seal is mainly used on sliding shower doors where one glass panel overlaps another. The push-fit channel grips the glass edge, while the flexible fin helps close the side gap and reduce water escaping.

Our F-Shape range is available for various glass thicknesses commonly used in UK shower enclosures, including 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10mm glass.

• 4mm, 5mm and 6mm glass: Suitable for slimmer framed or lightweight shower doors.
• 8mm and 10mm glass: Suitable for thicker frameless or semi-frameless sliding shower doors.

Measure the thickness of your glass first, then measure the side gap or the fin length required to close the gap between the sliding door and fixed panel.

1. Measure your glass thickness, such as 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm or 10mm.
2. Measure the gap the flexible fin needs to cover.
3. Choose the closest matching F-Shape seal by glass thickness and gap coverage.

We provide standard 2 metre (2000mm) lengths, suitable for the vast majority of UK sliding shower doors. For commercial projects or exceptionally tall shower screens, we also offer custom 3 metre lengths to ensure seamless waterproofing without unsightly joints.

Yes. Our PVC F-Shape shower seals can be trimmed to the required length using sharp scissors or a fine-tooth saw.

1. Clean the glass surface thoroughly.
2. Start by securing one end of the seal onto the glass edge.
3. Press the remaining seal firmly into place along the glass.
4. Trim any excess length for a neat finish.

No adhesive is normally needed when the seal is correctly matched to the glass thickness.

Yes, provided the dimensions match. Compatibility depends on the glass thickness, seal profile and gap size rather than the shower brand.

UK brand compatibility: It may suit B&Q, Wickes, Aqualux, Homebase and other major UK shower systems if the measurements are correct.

Old F-Shape shower seals can turn yellow or become loose due to hard water deposits, cleaning product exposure, UV degradation and general wear.
