  3. Along the bottom edge
  4. Pushed directly onto the glass

Once you have identified the fitting position, compare the old end profile, frame channel opening and required gap coverage with the product images below.

This range includes framed shower door seal strips, frame channel seals, T-slot seals, flexible buffer seals and vertical replacement seals for doors with a metal frame or groove. Do not choose by length alone—the fitting shape and channel width are usually more important.

Choosing a Framed and Bi-fold Shower Door Seal Strip

Framed and bi-fold shower doors can use several different seal styles. Before ordering, check where your old seal fits: inside a metal frame channel, along the bottom edge, on a folding panel, or against another closing edge.

Where the Old Seal Fits Likely Seal Type What to Check Before Ordering
Inside a metal frame channel Frame channel seal or T-slot strip Measure the channel width and compare the old profile shape carefully.
Along the bottom of the door Bottom sweep or framed door bottom seal Measure the gap between the door and tray or bath rim.
On a folding or bi-fold screen Bi-fold shower door seal or folding bath screen seal Check whether the seal needs to flex when the panels fold.
Between two closing edges Magnetic strip or closing seal Check the door angle, magnet direction and whether the old strip is a pair.
Against a wall, frame or fixed panel Vertical side seal or bulb seal Measure the side gap and check whether the seal clips into the frame or pushes onto glass.

Tip: Do not choose by length alone. For framed shower door seal strips, the profile shape and channel width are usually more important than the overall strip length.
