⚠️ Professional Warning (SIMBA Does Not Recommend): While heating a shower straight bottom seal can make PVC temporarily flexible, it permanently damages the material's structural integrity and lifespan.

This leads to gaps, reduced sealing pressure, and early cracking.

We strongly advise against heating.

Use a properly pre-curved seal designed for your glass thickness for a guaranteed watertight fit.

This leak is often caused by the inevitable small gap where the seal meets the hinge metal.

Since the seal cannot fully enclose the hardware, secondary water defence is essential.

We recommend installing a PV29 Threshold Strip on your shower tray/bath edge to create a secondary, unbreakable barrier that catches any run-off from the corner hinge point.

The section with the drip rail should always face towards the inside of the shower door.
