  • Your glass is 4mm, 5mm or 6mm thick.
  • Your gap is approximately 8mm to 15mm.
  • You need a shower door seal that can be used on either the bottom edge or the vertical side edge of suitable glass.
  • You need a soft bubble section to help cushion contact and reduce rattling.
  • You need a bottom seal that can help reduce water escaping from beneath the shower door or screen.
  • Your shower door or screen is frameless and suitable for push-fit installation.
  • You are fitting it to a compatible hinged shower door, pivot shower door or fixed shower screen.
  • For side use, you need to seal or cushion a vertical gap between glass and wall, or between two glass panels.
  • You are using it on a suitable frameless door, sliding door or hinged door side edge.
  • Your required length does not exceed the selected seal length and can be trimmed to size.

Choose another seal if:

  • Your glass is thicker than 6mm.
  • Your gap is smaller than 8mm or larger than 15mm.

Suitable Applications & Installation Tips

The DA456S15 clear shower door seal is designed for 4mm, 5mm and 6mm glass where a larger gap of approximately 8mm to 15mm needs to be reduced or sealed.

This profile combines a soft bubble seal with a 15mm fin and a rigid side guide rail. The bubble section helps cushion contact against the closing surface, while the rigid side rail gives extra structure when the seal is used along the bottom edge of a shower door or screen.

When fitted to the bottom of a compatible hinged door, pivot door or shower screen, the seal can help reduce water escaping underneath the glass. The rigid side guide rail helps direct water and provides a firmer edge than a soft bubble-only profile.

The DA456S15 can also be used vertically on suitable side edges. For side use, it is suitable for reducing impact and closing gaps between glass and wall, or between two straight glass panels. It can be used on compatible frameless shower doors, sliding shower doors and hinged shower doors where the profile does not interfere with the door movement.

This seal is not recommended for folding shower doors, framed shower doors or doors with thick metal edge trims. It is also not intended for curved glass.

For best results, check the gap at several points before ordering, as shower door gaps can vary from top to bottom. When fitting, start from one end of the glass edge and gradually push the seal into place along the panel. Trim only after checking the position and door movement.
