Is This the Right Seal?
The H456S20 is the extra-reach option for 4–6mm frameless shower glass. It is used where the side gap between two glass panels is too wide for a shorter fin seal.
Use this seal if:
- Your glass is 4mm, 5mm or 6mm thick
- The side gap between the glass panels is around 3–18mm
- Your shower door is hinged or pivot-style
- The seal will be fitted to a straight, exposed glass edge
- You need a vertical side seal, not a bottom seal
- You need more reach than an 8mm or 15mm fin can provide
- The length you need is 2000mm or less
Before ordering, close the shower door and measure the widest part of the side gap.
This is not the right seal if:
- Your glass is thinner than 4mm or thicker than 6mm
- The gap is below 3mm or above 18mm
- Your shower door is sliding, bi-fold, framed
- You are replacing a bottom door seal
- The gap is between glass and wall, glass and tray, or inside a shower track
- A metal frame, trim or rail covers the glass edge
- You need a magnetic seal, drip seal, threshold seal or sliding door seal

Product Overview
The H456S20 is a clear push-fit shower door seal for 4–6mm frameless glass. It is the longer-reach version in this range, made for side gaps where the glass panels sit further apart than usual.
The 20mm soft fin reaches across the gap towards the opposite glass panel, helping reduce spray escaping from the side of the shower door.
The clear PVC channel pushes onto the exposed glass edge without adhesive, screws or silicone.
Because the fin is longer, take a moment to test the door after fitting. Open and close it slowly, and check that the fin does not catch, bend back on itself or prevent the door from closing freely.
This seal is intended for straight frameless hinged or pivot shower doors. It should not be used on sliding doors, framed enclosures, folding doors or curved screens.

When should I choose H456S20?
Choose H456S20 when your 4–6mm glass has a noticeably larger side gap and the shorter fin versions do not reach far enough. It is the longest fin option in this thin-glass side seal range.
When is a 20mm fin the right size?
A 20mm fin is useful when the side gap is larger than a shorter seal can comfortably cover, but not so wide that the fin has to stretch or sit loosely. Measure the gap with the door closed and choose this size only if the extra reach is needed.
Will this seal fix any large gap?
No. It is made for gaps of approximately 3–18mm. If the gap is wider than this, the fin may not sit properly against the opposite glass panel.
Can I fit this to a sliding shower door?
No. H456S20 is for straight frameless glass edges on hinged or pivot shower doors. It is not made for sliding door overlaps, framed doors, folding doors or curved glass.
