Suitable Applications & Installation Notes
M10B2M is a pair of vertical magnetic closing seals manufactured specifically for sliding shower doors with 10mm glass.
The two magnetic profiles should face one another and meet in a straight 180-degree arrangement when the door closes. This model is designed for closing gaps of up to approximately 20mm.
The gap does not need to measure exactly 20mm. A smaller closing gap may still be suitable, provided the 10mm glass thickness and straight magnetic arrangement also match.
Your old seal does not need to match every external measurement. The important checks are the glass thickness, straight closing arrangement and maximum working gap. Both strips are supplied in 2000mm lengths and can be trimmed to suit the height of the shower door. The clear frosted PVC channels push directly onto clean, dry glass, so tape or adhesive is not normally required.
Before fitting, remove both old seals and clean any soap residue or limescale from the glass edges. Press the new profiles on evenly, then close the door slowly to check that the magnets attract along the full height.
M10B2M is suitable for replacing magnetic seals that have hardened, yellowed, cracked or no longer hold the sliding door closed consistently. A correctly matched pair can restore a firmer closing action and help reduce water passing through the vertical meeting gap.
