This seal is suitable if:
- Your folding or framed shower door has an existing retaining track or side channel.
- The track has enough internal space for the 7mm insert profile.
- The slot opening is at least 4mm wide.
- You need a longer 25mm flexible side fin to cover a wider space beside the door or frame.
- Your required finished length is 2000mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your track is narrower than the 7mm insert profile.
- The channel opening is less than approximately 4mm.
- Your old seal clips directly onto exposed glass.
- You need a magnetic, bottom clip-on or T-slot seal.
- The 25mm fin would interfere with hinges, rollers or normal folding movement.
Product Details
ROT05 is a track-insert side seal for folding and framed shower doors, designed for frames that already have a compatible retaining channel.
The rigid fixing section measures approximately 7mm across and 3.6mm high. The channel opening should be at least 4mm so the profile can pass into the track correctly.
A 25mm soft fin extends from the fixing section and helps close a larger space between folding door sections or between the door and frame.
For this type of replacement seal, check the track dimensions before the fin shape. A strip can look very similar to your old one but still fail to fit if the retaining section is too wide or the slot opening is too narrow.
The soft PVC fin can flex as the door folds or slides, rather than acting as a rigid stop.
Supplied in a 2000mm length and can be trimmed before installation.
