This set is suitable if:
- Your shower glass is 4mm, 5mm or 6mm thick.
- Your bottom gap is around 3–7mm.
- The lower glass edge is straight and exposed.
- You want an 8mm flexible fin for a relatively small bottom clearance.
- You would like a second 12mm-fin seal included in case your measurement is slightly out or more reach is needed.
- Your required finished length is 950mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your glass is thicker than 6mm.
- Your bottom gap is clearly much larger than the intended small-gap range.
- Your lower glass edge is curved.
- A frame, hinge or bottom rail prevents the seal from clipping directly onto the glass.
Two Fin Lengths Included
V456S8 is designed for 4–6mm frameless shower glass with a relatively small bottom gap, with the 8mm fin recommended for clearances of around 3–7mm.
The pack also includes a second, complete 950mm seal with a 12mm fin.
This gives you another fitting option if the original gap measurement is slightly inaccurate or the 8mm fin does not quite reach the tray or threshold.
The 12mm version is included as an alternative rather than making the 8mm seal suitable for larger gaps by default.
Both profiles use the same clear push-fit channel for 4–6mm glass and can be trimmed to the required length before fitting.
