This seal is suitable if:
- Your curved shower glass is 8mm, 9mm or 10mm thick.
- Your bottom clearance is around 14–19mm.
- You need a 20mm flexible fin to reach a deeper gap beneath the glass.
- The curve height shown in our guide is approximately 80–160mm.
- The lower edge of the glass is smooth and unobstructed.
- Your required finished length is 1000mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your gap is much smaller than 14mm.
- Your glass thickness is outside 8–10mm.
- Hinges, metal trim or other fittings block the push-fit channel.
- The curve is well outside the dimensions shown in our measuring guide.
Product Details
V810S20CU is designed for thicker curved shower glass with a larger bottom clearance, where a shorter fin may not reach the tray or bath edge reliably.
Its 20mm soft fin gives extra reach beneath 8–10mm glass and is recommended for gaps of around 14–19mm. The aim is to maintain useful contact with the sealing surface without needing the fin to stretch or sit at an excessive angle.
Because the channel is sized for 8–10mm glass, this version is intended for heavier curved screens and doors rather than thinner 4–6mm panels.
The 14–19mm gap is a recommended working range, not a strict limit. What matters is that the fin reaches the tray while still allowing the door or screen to move freely.
The profile is supplied pre-curved and flexible enough to follow a range of compatible shower-screen shapes. Do not heat the seal to reshape it, as this can distort the gripping channel and reduce its hold.
Supplied in a 1000mm length and can be trimmed before fitting.
