This seal is suitable if:
- Your curved shower glass is 8mm, 9mm or 10mm thick.
- Your bottom clearance is approximately 17–22mm.
- You need a 23mm flexible fin to reach a deeper gap beneath the glass.
- The curve height shown in our guide is around 80–160mm.
- The lower glass edge is smooth and free from hinges, rails or bulky fittings.
- Your required finished length is 1000mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your gap is much smaller than 17mm, where a shorter fin will usually fit more neatly.
- Your glass thickness is outside 8–10mm.
- A frame or fitting blocks the push-fit channel.
- The curve is well outside the dimensions shown in our measuring guide.
Product Details
V810S23CU is designed for 8–10mm curved shower glass with a large bottom clearance, where the shorter-fin versions may not reach the tray or bath edge reliably.
Its 23mm soft fin provides the greatest reach in this series and is recommended for gaps of around 17–22mm. The fin should make useful contact with the sealing surface without being tightly folded underneath the door.
Because this version is made for thicker 8–10mm glass, the push-fit channel is sized accordingly and should grip the exposed glass edge without adhesive.
The 17–22mm range is a recommended working range rather than a strict limit. The key check is whether the fin reaches the tray while the door still opens and closes freely.
The profile is supplied pre-curved and flexible enough to follow compatible curved screens. Do not heat the seal to force a different curve, as this can distort the channel and weaken its grip.
Supplied in a 1000mm length and can be trimmed before fitting.
