This set is suitable if:
- Your shower glass is 8mm, 9mm or 10mm thick.
- Your bottom gap is around 3–7mm.
- The lower glass edge is straight and exposed.
- You need a short 8mm flexible fin for a small clearance beneath the door.
- You would like a second 12mm-fin seal included in case the gap measurement is slightly out or a little more reach is needed.
- Your required finished length is 950mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your glass is thinner than 8mm or thicker than 10mm.
- Your bottom gap is clearly much larger than the intended small-gap range.
- The lower edge of the glass is curved.
- A frame, hinge or bottom rail prevents the seal from clipping directly onto the glass.
- You need a magnetic, side or track-mounted seal.
Two Fin Lengths Included
V810S8 is made for 8–10mm frameless shower glass with a relatively small bottom gap, with the 8mm fin recommended for clearances of around 3–7mm.
The pack also includes a second, complete 950mm seal with a 12mm flexible fin.
This gives you another fitting option if the original measurement is slightly inaccurate or the 8mm fin does not quite reach the shower tray or threshold.
The 12mm version is included as an alternative fitting option rather than changing the intended 3–7mm range of the V810S8 itself.
Both strips are supplied at 950mm long and can be trimmed to the required door width before fitting.
