VB10 is the 10mm glass version of this twin-fin bottom seal profile, intended for thicker frameless shower doors and screens with a straight lower edge.

Its rigid U-shaped channel is sized to grip 10mm glass directly, without adhesive. This glass-specific fit is important: a similar-looking profile made for thinner glass may not hold securely, while a channel that is too tight may be difficult to install correctly.

Along the side of the seal is a 17mm rigid water deflector. Rather than relying only on the fins underneath the door, this raised section helps catch water running down the glass and guide it back towards the wet side of the shower.

Underneath are two soft 9mm fins. They flex against the shower tray or threshold as the door moves, providing a second sealing contact rather than depending on one blade alone. Because the fins are soft, the twin-fin construction should not by itself prevent normal opening and closing when the clearance is suitable.

For this profile, approximately 4–8mm is the recommended bottom-gap range rather than a strict fitting limit. The practical check is whether the fins maintain useful contact without being excessively folded or compressed. A slightly different clearance can still be workable if the door continues to move freely.

VB10 can be used on many 10mm frameless hinged doors, pivot doors, straight shower screens and compatible sliding-door arrangements, provided there is enough space around the bottom edge for the deflector and fins.

The strip is supplied at 1000mm long and can be cut to the required length before pushing it fully onto the clean, dry glass edge.
