  • Your glass is 4mm, 5mm or 6mm thick.
  • You need a replacement bottom seal for a frameless shower door or straight shower screen.
  • Your bottom gap is around 6–9mm.
  • Your old bottom seal has become loose, yellowed, cracked or no longer sits neatly against the tray.
  • You want two soft fins underneath the door to help reduce light splashing and water escaping.

Product Details

The VB456 is a clear PVC bottom seal for 4–6mm frameless glass shower doors and straight shower screens. It is supplied as one 1000mm strip and can be trimmed to match your door width. The push-fit channel slides onto the lower edge of thinner glass without adhesive, making it a simple replacement for an old, loose or discoloured bottom seal.

Underneath the glass, two soft 9mm fins help close a bottom gap of around 6–9mm. This helps reduce everyday splashing and water escaping beneath the door on suitable pivot doors, hinged doors, straight screens and some sliding doors. For shower trays with a very low edge, or where water still runs towards the opening, it can also be paired with a self-adhesive shower threshold strip.
