This seal is suitable if:
- Your framed shower door has a compatible T-slot track.
- The track opening can accept the 6mm T-profile.
- Your sealing gap is approximately 7–12mm.
- You want an additional angled water guide to help direct water back towards the shower.
- Your required finished length is 1000mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your channel is too narrow for the 6mm T-profile.
- There is no track or retaining slot for the seal to slide into.
- Your gap is well outside the recommended 7–12mm range.
- Hinges, rollers or frame fittings obstruct the lower seal.
- You need a clip-on seal for exposed frameless glass.
Suitable Applications & Installation Notes
VE01 is a T-slot seal for framed shower doors and screens, designed to slide into a compatible track rather than clip directly onto glass.
The profile uses a 6mm T-shaped fixing section and has an overall sealing height of approximately 15mm.
What distinguishes VE01 is the additional angled water guide at the bottom. This section should face towards the inside / wet side of the shower, helping guide water back into the enclosure rather than allowing it to travel towards the dry side.
The seal is recommended for gaps of around 7–12mm. This is a practical working range rather than an absolute limit; the flexible section should make contact without being heavily compressed or interfering with normal door movement.
Before fitting, check both the track opening and the available space around the lower frame. The visible shape of the old seal does not need to be identical if the channel dimensions and sealing position are compatible.
Supplied in a 1000mm length and can be trimmed before installation.
