6mm T-Slot Framed Shower Door Drip Rail and Sweep Up to 15mm Gap VE01

Suitable Applications

The VE01 is a replacement framed seal designed for shower doors that use an aluminium T-slot fixing channel.

Unlike push-on seals that clip directly onto the glass, this profile slides into an existing aluminium track using its T-shaped fixing head. Once installed, the flexible sealing blade helps close gaps of up to approximately 15mm.

The most important measurement is not the width of the old T-head.

Many original seals use different T-head sizes depending on the manufacturer, even when they fit the same aluminium channel. Instead, measure the aluminium channel itself.

In most cases there are two measurements inside the channel:

• the main opening, where the T-head passes through
• the retaining slot, which holds the seal in place

VE01 is suitable when:

• the main opening is approximately 6mm or wider
• the retaining slot is approximately 1–4mm

If these dimensions are correct, the profile will often fit even when your original T-head appears narrower or wider.

The seal is manufactured from clear PVC and supplied in a 1000mm length. It can be trimmed to match the height of your shower door.

Why This Profile Is Different

Many replacement seals are selected by measuring the old seal.

For T-slot seals, this is often the wrong approach.

The original seal may have a different T-head shape or width, while still fitting exactly the same aluminium channel. For this reason, the channel dimensions are far more important than the old seal dimensions.

Measuring the aluminium channel first usually provides a much more reliable way to identify the correct replacement.
