This seal is suitable if:
- Your curved shower glass is 4mm, 5mm or 6mm thick.
- You have a larger bottom clearance of around 14–19mm.
- You need a longer 20mm flexible fin to reach the tray or bath edge.
- The curve height shown in our guide is approximately 80–160mm.
- The lower edge of the glass is smooth and free from hinges or bulky fittings.
- Your required length is 1000mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your gap is much smaller than 14mm, where a shorter fin may sit more neatly.
- Your glass thickness is outside 4–6mm.
- The glass bottom has a frame, hinge or obstruction preventing direct push-fit installation.
- The curve is well outside the dimensions shown in our measuring guide.
Product Details
V456S20CU is intended for curved shower screens and doors where the glass sits noticeably higher above the tray or bath edge.
Its 20mm flexible fin gives extra reach beneath 4–6mm curved glass, making it the better choice when shorter 12mm or 16mm fins would leave too much clearance. For this profile, a bottom gap of approximately 14–19mm is the recommended working range.
The long fin is soft enough to flex as the screen or door moves, but it should not be heavily folded against the tray. If your gap is much smaller, choosing a shorter-fin version will usually give a cleaner fit.
The pre-curved channel can adapt to a range of compatible glass curves, provided the glass thickness, curve height and fitting edge are suitable. Your old seal does not need to match the exact shape.
Do not heat the profile to force a tighter curve. Excessive heat may distort the gripping channel and reduce its hold on the glass.
Supplied in a 1000mm length and can be trimmed before fitting.
