This seal is suitable if:
- Your curved glass is 4mm, 5mm or 6mm thick.
- Your bottom clearance is approximately 17–22mm.
- You need a 23mm flexible fin to reach a deeper gap beneath the curved glass.
- The curve height shown in our measuring guide is around 80–160mm.
- The bottom glass edge is smooth, exposed and free from hinges or bulky fittings.
- Your required length is 1000mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your gap is much smaller than 17mm, where a shorter fin will usually sit more naturally.
- Your glass thickness is outside 4–6mm.
- A frame, hinge or metal profile obstructs the lower edge.
- The glass curve is well outside the dimensions shown in our guide.
Product Details
V456S2023CU is the longest-fin version in this curved seal series, designed for 4–6mm curved shower glass with a larger bottom clearance.
Its 23mm soft fin provides the extra reach needed for gaps of around 17–22mm, where shorter 12mm, 16mm or 20mm profiles may not make enough contact with the tray or bath edge.
The fin is flexible, so it can move against the surface as the door or screen moves. It should make useful contact without being tightly folded underneath the glass.
The 17–22mm figure is a recommended working range rather than an absolute limit. The practical check is whether the fin reaches the sealing surface while the door still opens and closes freely.
The pre-curved channel can adapt to compatible curved screens when the glass thickness, curve height and fitting edge are correct. There is no need to force the seal into the exact shape of the old profile.
Do not heat the seal to reshape it, as excessive heat can distort the gripping channel and reduce its hold on the glass.
Supplied in a 1000mm length and can be trimmed before fitting.
