This threshold is suitable if:
- Your shower tray has a straight, flat and smooth mounting surface.
- There is at least 10mm of flat surface available for the threshold.
- The bottom of the shower door has more than 5mm clearance above the tray.
- The threshold will not interfere with the door opening or closing.
- You want to create a low water barrier along the shower entrance.
- You plan to use it on its own or together with a compatible shower door bottom seal.
- Your required finished length is 950mm or less.
Choose another threshold if:
- Your shower tray is curved where the strip needs to be installed.
- The mounting surface is uneven, textured or narrower than 10mm.
- The bottom gap beneath the door is less than approximately 5mm.
- Hinges, guides or other fittings would prevent the threshold from being fitted correctly.
- You require a taller or flexible threshold profile.
Suitable Applications & Installation Notes
The D510 is a clear solid shower threshold strip designed to be fixed directly onto the shower tray to help reduce water escaping from the shower area.
Unlike a clip-on shower door seal, this threshold remains fixed to the tray while the shower door moves above it. It can be used on its own or combined with a compatible bottom shower door seal to improve water retention.
The low-profile half-round shape is suitable for straight shower trays where the bottom edge of the glass door is smooth and has more than 5mm of clearance. This allows the door to open and close freely without rubbing against the threshold.
The threshold is supplied in a 950mm length and can be trimmed easily using heavy-duty scissors or secateurs before installation.

Installation Tips
- Clean and dry the shower tray thoroughly before fitting.
- Ensure the mounting area is flat, smooth and free from grease or soap residue.
- Peel away the red protective backing from the pre-applied adhesive strip.
- Position the threshold carefully and press firmly along its full length.
- Once fitted, avoid moving or repositioning the threshold.
- For the strongest bond, allow the adhesive to cure for 7–10 hours before using the shower.
