This seal is suitable if:
- Your shower door is a framed folding / bi-fold door.
- Your existing seal has a similar twin T-shaped profile.
- The inside of each track is wider than approx. 6.5mm.
- The track opening is at least approx. 4mm wide.
- You need a vertical centre seal up to 2000mm long.
Choose another seal if:
- Your shower door is frameless.
- You need a bottom seal or another horizontal seal.
- The frame slot opening is narrower than approximately 4mm.
- The internal aluminium channel is not wide enough for the approximately 6.5mm T-shaped fitting edge.
- Your door does not have two suitable vertical aluminium channels.
Suitable Applications
DOU01 is designed for the vertical centre joint of framed folding shower doors. The two T-shaped edges slide into the aluminium frame channels, while the flexible centre allows the panels to fold and move together.
Before ordering, compare the profile shape with your existing seal.
The 6.5mm insert width and 4mm slot opening are the key measurements.
If the profile matches but part of the seal is slightly oversized for your frame, the flexible PVC can be carefully trimmed with strong scissors where required.
Supplied in a 2000mm length and can be cut shorter to suit your door.
All measurements are approximate. Please check both the slot opening and the internal channel width, as these are two different measurements.
