Is This the Right Seal?
The H810S2535 is made for 8–10mm frameless shower glass where the side gap beside the fixed panel is noticeably wider than usual.
Use this seal if:
- Your glass is 8mm, 9mm or 10mm thick
- The side gap between the door and fixed glass panel is around 3–23mm
- Your shower door is hinged or pivot-style
- The seal will fit onto a straight, exposed glass edge
- You need a vertical side seal, not a bottom seal
- A standard side seal would not sit close enough against the opposite panel
- The length you need is 2000mm or less
Before ordering, close the shower door and measure the gap where water is escaping. As this is a long-fin seal, it is best used only where the gap genuinely needs the extra reach.
This is not the right seal if:
- Your glass is thinner than 8mm or thicker than 10mm
- The gap is below 3mm or above 23mm
- Your shower door is sliding, bi-fold, framed
- You are replacing a bottom door seal
- The gap is between glass and wall, glass and tray, or inside a shower track
- A metal frame, trim or rail covers the glass edge
- You need a magnetic seal, drip seal, threshold seal or sliding door seal
If the side gap is not especially wide, a shorter fin vertical seal strip may sit more neatly and allow the door to move more freely.
Product Overview
The H810S2535 is a clear push-fit side seal for 8–10mm frameless shower glass. It is used on hinged or pivot doors where the gap beside the fixed panel is noticeably wider than usual.
The 35mm soft fin reaches across the side opening to help reduce spray escaping from the edge of the shower door. It is useful where a standard side seal would leave too much of the gap exposed.
The clear PVC channel pushes onto the bare glass edge without adhesive, screws or silicone.
Because the fin is long, check the door movement carefully after fitting. Open and close the shower door slowly to make sure the fin does not catch, curl back, or stop the door from closing properly.
This seal is intended for straight frameless hinged or pivot shower doors. It is not suitable for sliding doors, framed enclosures, folding doors or curved glass.

Will the 25mm fin cover any wide shower gap?
No. This seal is made for gaps of approximately 3–25mm. If the gap is wider than this, the fin may not keep enough contact with the opposite glass panel.
Is a long fin always the better choice?
No. A long fin is only helpful when the gap needs it. For a smaller gap, a shorter fin may look tidier and move more cleanly when the shower door opens and closes.
Can this be fitted to a sliding shower door?
No. H810S2535 is for straight, exposed frameless glass edges on hinged or pivot shower doors. It is not made for sliding door overlaps, framed doors, folding doors or curved glass.
