Is This the Right Seal?
The H810S8 is the neat short-fin seal for 8–10mm frameless shower glass. It is made for small side gaps where two thicker glass panels already close fairly neatly, but water can still escape between them.
Use this seal if:
- Your glass is 8mm, 9mm or 10mm thick
- The side gap between the glass panels is around 3–6mm
- Your shower door is hinged or pivot-style
- The seal will fit onto a straight, exposed glass edge
- You need a vertical side seal, not a bottom seal
- You want a short fin for a close glass-to-glass gap
- The length you need is 2000mm or less
Before ordering, close the shower door and measure the side gap where water is getting through. This 8mm fin is best for smaller gaps where a longer fin is not needed.
This is not the right seal if:
- Your glass is thinner than 8mm or thicker than 10mm
- The gap is below 3mm or above 6mm
- Your shower door is sliding, bi-fold, framed
- You are replacing a bottom door seal
- The gap is between glass and wall, glass and tray, or inside a shower track
- A metal frame, trim or rail covers the glass edge
- You need a magnetic seal, drip seal, threshold seal or sliding door seal
If the side gap is wider than a small close-fitting gap, a longer-fin vertical seal may give better coverage.

The H810S8 is a clear push-fit shower door seal for 8–10mm frameless glass. It is the short-fin option in the thicker-glass range, made for small vertical side gaps between a shower door and a fixed glass panel.
The 8mm soft fin sits across a narrow opening without adding unnecessary length to the edge of the glass. This keeps the fit tidy on thicker glass panels that already meet closely when the door is shut.
The clear PVC channel pushes onto the exposed glass edge without adhesive, screws or silicone.
After fitting, open and close the shower door slowly.
This seal is intended for straight frameless hinged or pivot shower doors. It is not suitable for sliding doors, framed enclosures, folding doors or curved glass.

What type of gap is H810S8 made for?
H810S8 is for a narrow side gap between two thicker frameless glass panels. It is a good choice when the door already closes quite close to the fixed panel, but a small gap still lets spray through.
Can I use H810S8 on 6mm glass?
No. H810S8 is made for 8–10mm glass. The channel is too wide for 4–6mm glass and may not grip the edge securely.
When is an 8mm fin enough?
An 8mm fin is usually enough when the gap is small and the two glass panels sit close together when the door is closed. If the fin cannot touch the opposite panel cleanly, the gap may need a longer fin size.
Can this seal be used on sliding shower doors?
No. H810S8 is for straight, exposed frameless glass edges on hinged or pivot shower doors. It is not made for sliding door overlaps, framed doors, folding doors or curved glass.
