  • Your door closes at a 90° glass-to-glass angle.
  • The closing gap is at least 9mm.
  • You need a pair of vertical magnetic seals.
  • Your required length is 2000mm or less.
  • For sliding doors, you are replacing the side magnetic closing seal.

1. Is this the right seal for a 90° shower door?

Yes. The M45A2M is designed for frameless shower doors where two glass panels meet at a 90° right angle. If your door closes glass-to-glass at a corner, this may be the correct magnetic seal.

2. What glass thickness does this magnetic seal fit?

This seal fits 4mm and 5mm frameless glass shower doors. If your glass is 6mm, 8mm or 10mm, please choose a different size from our magnetic shower door seals range.

3. What gap does this seal require?

The M45A2M requires at least 9mm clearance between the two vertical glass edges when the door is closed. A slightly wider gap may still close, but a smaller gap may prevent the door from closing correctly.

4. Is the M45A2M supplied as one strip or a pair?

The M45A2M is supplied as a pair, including two magnetic shower door seals designed to work together for secure closure.

5. Will this help reduce water leaking from my shower door?

Yes. When fitted correctly, it can help reduce water escaping between two glass panels and improve closure if your old seal is loose, cracked or worn.

Suitable Applications

The M45A2M magnetic shower door seal pair is suitable for 90° frameless glass-to-glass closing edges with 4mm or 5mm glass.

It can be used on compatible corner-entry shower enclosures, square or rectangular shower enclosures, and selected sliding shower doors where a vertical side magnetic closing seal is required.

It is ideal for replacing old, yellowed, cracked or worn magnetic seals that no longer close properly, helping restore magnetic closure and reduce water escaping between the panels.

This seal is not intended for bottom shower door seals, drip seals, guide rail seals, framed metal edges or glass thicker than 5mm.
