  • Your shower door is a sliding shower door.
  • Your glass thickness is 4mm or 5mm.
  • The side closing gap is around 22mm.
  • You need to replace the vertical side magnetic closing seal.
  • Your required length is 2000mm or less.
  • You need a push-on seal that can be cut to size.
  • Your existing seal has a similar magnetic closing profile, or this shape appears suitable for your door.

Choose another seal if:

  • Your shower door opens inwards or outwards.
  • You have a pivot, hinged or curved shower door.
  • Your glass is thicker than 5mm.
  • Your gap is much smaller or larger than 22mm.

Suitable Applications & Installation Notes

The M45C2M magnetic shower door seal pair is designed for 4mm and 5mm glass sliding shower doors with an approximate 22mm side closing gap. It is used to replace the vertical side magnetic closing seal and has an angled magnetic meeting face, so it is best matched by comparing the profile shape with your existing seal before ordering.

Supplied as a pair / 2 pieces, each seal is 2000mm long and can be trimmed to suit your shower door height. To fit, remove the old seal, clean and dry the glass edge, then push the new seal firmly onto the glass. No tape or glue is normally required.

This seal is suitable for replacing old, yellowed, cracked, hardened or weak magnetic side seals on compatible sliding shower doors. It is not suitable for inward-opening, outward-opening, pivot, hinged or curved shower doors, or for bottom seals, drip seals, guide rail seals, track seals, framed metal edges or thick edge trims.

M45B2M and M45C2M are alternative profile styles for the same type of sliding shower door. Both are suitable for 4–5mm glass and an approximate 22mm side closing gap. The profile shape is slightly different, so choose the one that looks closest to your existing seal, or choose either if both shapes appear suitable.
