This seal is suitable if:
- Your glass is 8mm, 9mm or 10mm thick.
- You have a hinged shower door or pivot shower door.
- The two glass panels close almost in a straight line, but not in a perfect 180° position.
- The closing gap between the two glass panels is approximately 19mm.

The offset between the two glass panels is more than 5mm, allowing the magnetic seals to meet correctly.
- You need a pair of magnetic seals that can meet across a slightly offset glass-to-glass closing edge.
- You need 2000mm seals that can be trimmed to size.
Please choose a different seal if:
- Your shower door is a sliding door, curved or framed door.
- Your two glass panels close at a clear 90° angle.
- Your two glass panels meet in a perfect straight 180° line with only a small gap.
- Your gap is much smaller or larger than 19mm.

Suitable Use + Installation
The MD810180 magnetic shower door seal pair is designed for 8mm, 9mm and 10mm glass on suitable hinged or pivot shower doors.
This seal is used where two glass panels close close to 180°, but the meeting position is slightly offset rather than perfectly straight. The soft curved sealing section helps the two magnetic strips meet across an approximate 19mm gap.
For this seal to work correctly, the two glass panels should have a visible offset of more than 5mm when closed. If the panels meet almost perfectly in a straight line with only a small gap, a standard 180° magnetic seal may be a better fit.
It is a useful replacement when the old magnetic seals have become stiff, weak, split or discoloured, especially on older hinged shower enclosures where the door does not close in a perfectly flat line.
This seal is not suitable for sliding doors, curved glass doors, framed shower doors, or true 90° glass-to-glass closures.
To install, remove the old seals and clean both glass edges. Check the glass thickness, closing position, offset and gap before fitting. Push each seal onto the glass from top to bottom, making sure the magnetic strips face each other correctly when the door closes.
Each seal is supplied in a 2000mm length and can be carefully trimmed to size before installation.
