Important: This seal is for tracked sliding shower doors only. It does not push onto the glass edge. The T-shaped fixing section must slide into a compatible shower door track.

This seal is suitable if:

  • You have a tracked sliding shower door.
  • Your two glass panels close edge-to-edge in a straight line.
  • You need a vertical magnetic closing seal.
  • The vertical closing gap between the glass doors is no more than 16mm.
  • The internal track channel is slightly wider than 10mm.
  • The narrow front opening of the track is at least 5mm wide.
  • You need a seal that slides into the existing track, not one that clips onto the glass edge.
  • You do not want to use adhesive.

Please choose a different seal if:

  • Your shower door does not have a suitable track.
  • Your seal needs to clip directly onto the glass edge.
  • Your internal track channel is 10mm or smaller.
  • Your narrow front track opening is less than 5mm.

Suitable Use + Installation

The MG001 magnetic shower door seal is designed for tracked sliding shower doors where two glass panels close together edge-to-edge in a straight line.

It is made from white PVC with a black magnetic strip inside, helping the sliding glass doors close neatly and reducing water escaping through the vertical gap. It is suitable for vertical closing gaps up to 16mm when the doors are fully closed.

This seal is not fitted directly onto the glass edge. The 10mm T-shaped fixing section must slide into a compatible shower door track. The internal track channel should be slightly wider than 10mm, and the narrow front opening of the track should be at least 5mm wide so the seal can slide in and stay secure.

To install, remove the old seal from the track, clean the track area, then slide the T-shaped fixing section of the new seal into place. No adhesive is required. Please check your existing track shape and measure both the internal track channel and the narrow front opening before ordering.

This product is mainly suitable for compatible tracked sliding shower doors. It is not intended for frameless hinged doors, bottom sealing, drip sealing, or push-fit glass edge installation.
