This seal is suitable if:
- Your shower glass is 10mm thick.
- The lower edge of the glass is straight and exposed.
- The gap below the glass is only around 1–3mm.
- You need a short flexible lower fin rather than a long-gap seal.
- Your required finished length is 950mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your glass is thinner than 10mm.
- Your bottom gap is substantially larger than 3mm.
- The bottom edge of the glass is curved.
- A frame or metal rail prevents the seal from fitting directly onto the glass.
- You need a magnetic or vertical seal.
Designed for Very Small Bottom Gaps
RY6672 is a clear bottom seal for 10mm straight shower glass, intended for doors with only around 1–3mm clearance underneath.
The short lower flexible fin sits close to the tray or threshold without relying on a long wiping section. This makes the profile more suitable where there is very little space below the glass.
The angled side section helps direct water back towards the shower area as it reaches the bottom of the door.
Because the recommended gap is small, check that the lower fin is not being heavily compressed once fitted. The door should still be able to open and close without excessive dragging.
RY6672 pushes directly onto the glass without adhesive and is supplied in a 950mm length for trimming before installation.
