  • The closing gap is no more than approximately 12mm.
  • The internal slot measures at least 9mm.
  • The channel opening is at least 5.4mm.
  • You need a pair of magnetic closing seals.
  • You require a 2000mm length that can be trimmed.

  • Your shower door is hinged, pivot or bi-fold.
  • The closing gap is larger than approximately 12mm.
  • The internal slot is narrower than 9mm.

RY7474 is a pair of channel-mounted magnetic seals for compatible sliding shower doors. Each profile fits into an existing retaining channel rather than clipping directly onto the glass.

The white outer profile is made from flexible TPE and contains an enclosed magnetic insert. It has a softer, more rubber-like feel than many conventional rigid PVC profiles.

This seal is suitable for closing gaps of up to approximately 12mm. The gap does not need to measure exactly 12mm; a smaller gap may still be suitable if the channel dimensions and magnetic alignment also match.

Before ordering, measure the retaining channel itself:

  • Internal channel width: at least 9mm
  • Channel entrance width: at least 5.4mm

Both strips are supplied in 2000mm lengths and can be trimmed to size. The pair is supplied with compatible magnetic polarity.

The TPE outer profile may also suit compatible sauna or steam-room doors where greater flexibility in warm conditions is required. Check the operating temperature of the installation before ordering.
