This seal is suitable if:
- Your shower frame has an existing groove or retaining channel.
- The channel is approximately 7mm or less and matches the profile shown.
- You need a soft insert to cushion contact between moving shower-door parts.
- The seal will be fitted along the bottom or side of the frame.
- Your required finished length is 2000mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- You need a seal that clips directly onto exposed glass.
- Your track is wider than the profile can hold securely.
- The existing channel has a completely different fixing shape.
- You mainly need a long fin to bridge a large water gap.
- You need a magnetic closure or T-slot seal.
Product Details
VL005 is a clear PVC channel insert used mainly on framed and folding shower doors where a soft buffer is needed inside an existing track.
Rather than using a long sealing fin, its compact 7mm × 10mm profile sits within the frame and helps soften contact as the door opens, closes or folds.
It can be fitted in a bottom channel or vertical side channel, depending on the shower-door design.
The important check is the track itself. Measure the available channel width and compare its shape with the profile drawing before ordering. A similar-looking strip may not fit if the retaining groove is different.
Supplied in a 2000mm length and can be trimmed to suit the frame.
