Important: The UH810 is a heavy-duty finless U-shape edge protector for thicker shower glass. It cushions exposed glass edges and helps reduce direct impact, but it is not designed to stop water leaking under a shower door.

Before ordering, measure the glass thickness itself — not the old seal — to confirm whether you need the UH810 or the slimmer UH456.

Will it slip or fall off over time?
The UH810 uses a deep U-channel to grip more of the glass edge. As long as the glass thickness is correct and the edge is clean and dry before fitting, it should hold securely without glue or silicone.
Do I need silicone?
In most cases, no. The UH810 is designed as a push-fit edge protector. Clean and dry the glass edge before fitting so the U-channel can grip properly.
How do I cover a 2-metre vertical side?
Order 2 strips to cover up to 1.9m. For a full 2m edge, check whether 1.9m coverage is suitable for your enclosure, or contact us before ordering.
Can this stop water leaking under my shower door?
No. The UH810 protects exposed glass edges, but it is not a bottom water seal. If water is leaking under the door, choose a shower door bottom seal with a soft fin or drip rail.
Where should I fit this seal?
Fit it onto an exposed glass edge or contact point where thicker shower glass may touch tiles, a wall, frame, floor or another glass panel.

Need to stop water leaking under the shower door?

The UH810 protects thick glass edges, but it does not seal the gap under the door. If water is escaping onto the bathroom floor, browse our shower door bottom seals with soft fins, drip rails and heavy-duty sweeps for 8mm, 9mm and 10mm glass.
