This seal is suitable if:
- Your shower glass is 8mm, 9mm or 10mm thick.
- The lower edge of the glass is straight and exposed.
- Your bottom gap is approximately 13–18mm.
- You need a 20mm soft fin to reach a larger clearance beneath the door.
- Your required finished length is 950mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your glass thickness is outside 8–10mm.
- Your gap is much smaller than 13mm, where a shorter fin may fit more neatly.
- The lower glass edge is curved.
- A frame, hinge or thick bottom trim prevents the seal from clipping directly onto the glass.
- You need a magnetic, side or track-mounted seal.
Suitable Applications & Installation Notes
V810S20 is a clear push-fit bottom seal for 8–10mm straight shower glass, designed for larger bottom clearances.
Its 20mm soft fin extends further below the glass than the shorter versions in this range, making it suitable for gaps of around 13–18mm.
The fin is flexible rather than rigid, so it can bend lightly against the shower tray or threshold as the door moves. The recommended gap range is not an absolute limit; the practical check is that the fin reaches the sealing surface without being heavily folded or creating excessive resistance.
The clear U-channel clips directly onto the glass without adhesive. Supplied in a 950mm length and can be trimmed before fitting.
