This seal is suitable if:
- Your glass is 4mm, 5mm or 6mm thick.
- Your bottom gap is approximately 15–18mm.
- You need a seal for a straight frameless shower door or screen.
- A conventional centre-mounted fin would sit directly above the shower threshold or become trapped against it.
- You need the sealing fin to sit closer to one edge of the glass rather than directly beneath the centre.
- You need a strip up to 1000mm long.
Choose another seal if:
- Your glass is thicker than 6mm.
- Your bottom gap is smaller than approximately 15mm or larger than 18mm.
- Your glass bottom is curved.
- Your door has a metal frame or thick edge trim.

- The offset fin would face the wrong side of your shower arrangement.
Suitable Applications
This clear shower bottom seal is designed for 4–6mm frameless shower glass with a bottom gap of approximately 15–18mm.
The upper U-shaped channel is made from rigid PVC, helping the profile grip the glass and remain stable once fitted. Beneath it, a soft triangular section supports the longer sealing fin while allowing the lower part of the profile to flex against the shower tray or threshold.
Unlike a standard bottom seal with a fin positioned directly beneath the centre of the glass, this profile has an offset fin extending from the edge of the channel.
This makes it particularly useful where the shower threshold sits directly below the glass. In that arrangement, a central fin may be pushed flat, trapped beneath the threshold or prevented from reaching the surface properly. Moving the fin towards the side gives it more room to make contact and helps it remain flexible as the door opens and closes.
The soft triangular support adds stability near the base of the profile without making the whole lower section rigid. The fin can bend when it meets the tray while still receiving enough support to guide water back towards the shower area.
The seal can be used on suitable sliding doors, hinged doors and fixed shower screens, provided the glass is straight and the offset fin matches the position of the threshold.
It is supplied in a 1000mm length and can be cut shorter to suit the width of the glass.
