This seal is suitable if:

- Your bottom gap is approximately 8–14mm.
- You need a flexible replacement seal for a framed or folding shower door.

Choose another seal if:
- Your channel uses a T-slot or another fixing style.
- Your round bead is not approximately 5mm.
- Your bottom gap is much smaller than 8mm or larger than about 14mm.
- You need a magnetic, side or vertical seal instead of a bottom seal.
Suitable Applications & Installation Notes
VF004 is a flexible dark grey PVC bottom seal designed for shower doors fitted with a 5mm round bead channel. The 16mm fin is intended for bottom gaps of approximately 8–14mm, helping reduce water escaping beneath the door while still allowing the seal to flex as the door moves.
Unlike rigid push-in strips, the flexible PVC profile bends easily during installation and can be trimmed with a sharp knife or scissors if required.
This seal is suitable for many framed shower doors, folding shower doors and similar enclosures that use a push-in round bead fixing.
The seal is available in both 950mm and 2000mm lengths.
The 2000mm version currently starts from just £15.40, only around £3 more than the 950mm option (£12.40). For many shower doors, it can be cut into two shorter pieces, allowing one section to be fitted now while keeping the remainder as a spare for future replacement.
Before ordering, the round bead diameter is the most important measurement. The overall profile does not need to match your old seal exactly. If the fixing bead fits the channel and the fin length suits your door gap, this profile is often a suitable replacement even when the rest of the shape looks slightly different.
