Suitable Applications
The VH002 is a fully flexible PVC framed replacement shower seal designed for shower doors that use a T-slot fixing rather than a glass clip.
Instead of gripping the glass directly, the seal slides into an existing aluminium slot using its approximately 6mm T-shaped head. For this reason, the installation slot is more important than the size of your old seal.
The flexible sealing fin is designed to seal gaps of up to approximately 15mm. If your gap is slightly smaller, the fin can usually be trimmed with scissors or a sharp knife to achieve a better fit without affecting the T-slot fixing.
Because the entire profile is made from flexible PVC, it is easy to cut to length and adapts well to slight variations often found on older framed shower doors.
Before ordering, measure the aluminium slot rather than the old seal wherever possible. The widest part of the slot should be approximately 6mm or larger. Comparing these dimensions is usually more reliable than matching the width of an old, worn seal.
