This seal is suitable if:
- Your framed shower door has an existing bottom T-slot or retaining channel.
- The internal track can accept an approximately 6mm T-head.
- You need a flexible 21mm fin beneath the door.
- The fin is slightly longer than your actual gap and can be trimmed to suit.
- Your required finished length is 950mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- Your old seal clips directly onto exposed glass.
- Your track is too narrow to accept the approximately 6mm T-head.
- You need a magnetic seal.
- You need a much shorter fin for a small bottom gap.
- Your installation does not use a bottom retaining channel.
Track-In Bottom Seal for Framed Shower Doors
VH012 is a 950mm clear PVC bottom seal designed to slide into the existing lower track of a framed shower door.
The approximately 6mm T-head fits into a compatible retaining channel, while the 21mm flexible fin extends below the frame to help close the space above the shower tray or threshold.
If the T-head fits your track correctly but the fin is slightly too long, the soft fin can be carefully shortened with a small pair of scissors. Trim only a little at a time until it makes suitable contact without excessive dragging.
The seal is supplied in a 950mm length and can also be cut down to match the width of the door.
