1. What type of shower door is M45C2M suitable for?
M45C2M is suitable for compatible 135° glass-to-glass sliding shower doors where two straight glass closing edges meet at a 135° angle. It may also fit selected diamond, pentangle or neo-angle sliding shower enclosures with straight closing edges.
It is not suitable for curved sliding shower doors, curved glass edges, round quadrant doors, hinged doors, folding doors or 90° corner doors.
2. What glass thickness does M45C2M fit?
It fits 4mm and 5mm glass.
Please measure the glass itself, not the old seal or trim.
3. What closing gap is required?
A 21mm or larger gap is required between the two glass closing edges.
If the gap is less than 21mm, please choose another model.
4. What does 135° closing mean?
The two glass panels close at an angled position, not in a straight line and not at a 90° corner.
This seal is for straight glass-to-glass magnetic closing edges only, not curved glass edges.
5. Will this seal stop leaks?
It can help reduce water escaping from the side closing gap.
Leaks from the bottom, guide rail or wall edge may need a different seal or adjustment.
Suitable Applications & Installation
M45C2M is designed for replacing side magnetic seals on compatible 135° glass-to-glass sliding shower doors, including selected diamond, pentangle or neo-angle sliding shower enclosures with straight glass closing edges.
This seal is not suitable for curved sliding shower doors, curved glass edges, round quadrant doors or other curved door designs.
It fits 4–5mm glass and requires a 21mm or larger closing gap. It is for side magnetic glass-to-glass closing only.
Use it to replace old, yellowed, cracked or weak magnetic seals and help reduce water escaping from the side gap.
Not suitable for bottom seals, guide rail seals, wall-edge seals, metal-framed doors, curved sliding shower doors or non-135° designs.
Before fitting, check that the two new magnetic strips attract each other. Remove the old seal, clean and dry the glass edge, then push the new seal on from the bottom upwards. Trim to height if needed.
Magnetic seals must match the glass thickness, gap, angle and profile shape to fit correctly.
