This seal is suitable if:
- Your shower door is a sliding shower door.
- Your glass thickness is 6mm, 7mm or 8mm.
- The closing gap is no more than approximately 19mm.
- You need to replace the vertical side magnetic closing seal.
- Your required length is 2000mm or less.
- You need a push-fit seal that can be cut to size.
- You are replacing an old, worn, yellowed or weak magnetic side seal.
Choose another seal if:
- Your door closes at an angle rather than in a straight line.
- Your door is hinged, pivoting or folds open.
- Your glass is thinner than 6mm or thicker than 8mm.
- The closing gap is larger than approximately 19mm.
- You need a bottom seal, drip seal, guide rail seal or track seal.
- Your shower door has a metal frame, thick edge trim or unusual profile.
- You are not replacing a sliding door side magnetic closing seal.

Suitable Applications & Installation Notes
The M68B2M is a pair of magnetic closing seals for 6–8mm sliding shower doors.
It is designed for a straight 180° closure, where the two vertical magnetic strips face one another and meet as the door closes. The profile is designed to close gaps of up to approximately 19mm.
The old seal does not need to have exactly the same overall width, as the overall profile can vary between manufacturers. The most important checks are the glass thickness, the straight 180° closing arrangement and the recommended closing gap.
A closing gap slightly below 19mm may still be suitable if the other fitting details match. For help comparing the main fitting points, see our shower door magnetic seal guide.
Both strips are supplied in 2000mm lengths and can be trimmed to suit the height of the door. The clear frosted PVC channels push directly onto the glass, so tape or adhesive is not normally needed.
Before fitting, remove the old seals and clean the glass edges. Press each new profile on evenly, then close the door slowly to check that the magnets align and attract along the full length.
M68B2M is suitable for replacing magnetic seals that have weakened, hardened, discoloured or stopped closing evenly. It is commonly used to replace magnetic seals that have become weak, hardened, discoloured or no longer close evenly over time.
