This seal is suitable if:

  • Your shower door is a sliding shower door.
  • Your glass thickness is 6mm, 7mm or 8mm.
  • The side closing gap is around 22mm.
  • You need to replace the vertical side magnetic closing seal.
  • Your required length is 2000mm or less.
  • You need a push-on seal that can be cut to size.
  • You are replacing an old, worn, yellowed or weak magnetic side seal.

Choose another seal if:

  • Your shower door opens inwards or outwards.
  • You have a pivot, hinged or curved shower door.
  • Your glass is thinner than 6mm or thicker than 8mm.
  • Your gap is closer to 19mm.
  • Your gap is larger than 22mm.
  • You need a bottom seal, drip seal, guide rail seal or track seal.
  • Your shower door has a metal frame, thick edge trim or unusual profile.
  • You are not replacing a sliding door side magnetic closing seal.

Suitable Applications & Installation Notes

The M68C2M is the 22mm gap option for 6–8mm glass sliding shower doors, designed for the vertical side closing point where the two magnetic strips meet. It is used to replace the vertical side magnetic closing seal where the two magnetic edges meet and help the sliding door close securely.

Supplied as a pair / 2 pieces, each seal is 2000mm long and can be trimmed to suit your shower door height. To fit, remove the old seal, clean and dry the glass edge, then push the new seal firmly onto the glass. No tape or glue is normally required.

This replacement seal is suitable when the original magnetic strips have become yellowed, cracked, stiff, worn or weak. Once fitted correctly, it can help improve the side closing action and reduce water escaping through the vertical meeting gap.

The M68C2M is not suitable for inward-opening, outward-opening, pivot, hinged or curved shower doors. It should also not be used as a bottom seal, drip seal, guide rail seal or track seal, or on doors with metal frames, thick edge trims or non-standard profiles.
