This seal is suitable if:
- Your shower door is a sliding shower door.
- Your glass thickness is 6mm, 7mm or 8mm.
- The closing gap is no more than approximately 22mm.
- You need to replace the vertical side magnetic closing seal.
- Your required length is 2000mm or less.
- You need a push-on seal that can be cut to size.
- You are replacing an old, worn, yellowed or weak magnetic side seal.
Choose another seal if:
- Your shower door opens inwards or outwards.
- You have a pivot, hinged or curved shower door.
- Your glass is thinner than 6mm or thicker than 8mm.
- Your gap is closer to 19mm.
- Your gap is larger than 22mm.

- Your shower door has a metal frame, thick edge trim or unusual profile.

Suitable Applications & Installation Notes
M68C2M is a pair of vertical magnetic seals for sliding shower doors with 6mm, 7mm or 8mm glass.
It is intended for a straight 180-degree closure, where the two magnetic profiles face one another and meet as the sliding panels close. This version is designed for closing gaps of up to approximately 22mm.
It is particularly useful where the glass thickness matches the common 6–8mm range, but a profile intended for a smaller closing gap does not extend far enough for the door arrangement.
The gap does not need to measure exactly 22mm. A smaller gap may still be suitable, provided the glass thickness and straight magnetic alignment also match. The profiles should meet without being forced heavily together when the door closes.
Your old seal does not need to match every external measurement. If the glass thickness, straight magnetic closing arrangement and maximum working gap are correct, this profile can still be a suitable replacement. Both strips are supplied in 2000mm lengths and can be trimmed to suit the height of the door. The clear frosted PVC channels push directly onto clean, dry glass, so tape or adhesive is not normally required.
Remove both old seals before fitting and clean any soap residue or limescale from the glass edges. Press the new profiles on evenly, then close the door slowly to confirm that the magnets attract along the full length.
M68C2M can replace magnetic seals that have become yellowed, brittle, loose or too weak to close evenly. When correctly matched, the new pair can restore the magnetic closing action and help reduce water passing through the vertical meeting gap.
