This seal is suitable if:

  • You have a framed folding shower door.
  • The seal is needed at the vertical centre joint between two moving door panels.
  • The channel width on each side is approximately 8.5mm.
  • The distance between the two marked measuring points is approximately 14.5mm.
  • The opening of each frame slot is wider than 3.5mm.
  • You need a strip up to 2000mm long.

Choose another seal if:

  • Your shower door is frameless.
  • You need a bottom seal or horizontal seal.
  • Your old profile does not fit into two framed channels.
  • The opening of the frame slot is 3.5mm or narrower.
  • The key measurements do not match your existing seal.

The 14.5mm measurement is not the full width of the seal. Measure only between the points shown in the product dimensions image.

Suitable Applications

The DOU02 is a vertical seal for framed folding shower doors. It is designed to fit between two framed door panels that fold and move together.

The seal has two rigid PVC channels connected by a flexible PVC centre section. The rigid channels fit into the existing frame grooves, while the flexible centre allows the panels to move through approximately 0°–180° as the door opens and folds.

Before ordering, compare the profile of your old seal with the product images. The three measurements that matter most are:

  • Approx. 14.5mm between the marked points
  • Approx. 8.5mm across each side channel
  • A frame slot opening wider than 3.5mm

The 3.5mm section must pass through the opening of the existing frame channel. If the opening is too narrow, the seal will not fit even if the other measurements are correct.

The seal is supplied in a 2000mm length and can be cut shorter to match the height of the door.

DOU02 must be installed vertically. It is not suitable for frameless glass, shower door bottoms, horizontal use or magnetic closing edges.
