Suitable if:

  • The gap between the two glass edges is approx. 22mm when closed
  • Your shower door closes in a straight 180° glass-to-glass position
  • You need a pair of magnetic seals for two matching door edges

  • You prefer a no-glue push-fit seal that can be trimmed to size

Choose another seal if:

  • Your glass is not 10mm thick
  • The gap between the glass edges is less than 22mm

FAQ

1. Is M10A2M supplied as a pair?

Yes. M10A2M comes as a pair of magnetic shower door seals. One seal fits onto each glass door edge so the two magnetic strips can meet when the doors close.

2. Which glass thickness is this model for?

This version is made for 10mm glass only. For thinner glass, use the matching 4-5mm or 6-8mm version instead.

3. What does the 22mm gap mean?

The 22mm gap is the recommended space between the two glass door edges when the doors are closed. M10A2M is best suited to an approx. 22mm gap.

4. Can the seals be shortened?

Yes. Each piece is 2000mm long and can be cut down to match your shower door height. Always measure before trimming.

5. Does it need glue?

No. The clear PVC grip is designed to press directly onto the glass edge, so no glue or adhesive is required.

6. Is this a slide-on seal?

No. M10A2M is a push-fit seal. It presses onto the glass edge and does not need to be slid in from one end.

7. Will this fit a sliding shower door?

No. This seal is for straight 180° magnetic closing shower doors. It is not suitable for sliding shower doors.

Suitable Applications & Installation

M10A2M is made for 10mm glass shower doors that close in a straight 180° magnetic glass-to-glass position. It is suitable for pivot, hinged, inward-opening and outward-opening shower doors where the two door edges meet side by side.

To fit the seals, remove the old magnetic strips and clean the glass edges before installation. Measure the door height, cut each 2000mm seal to the required length, then press the clear PVC grip onto each glass edge. Check that the black magnetic strips are facing each other so they pull together correctly when the doors close.

This model is designed for side magnetic sealing only. It is not suitable for sliding shower doors, bottom water seals, 90° or 135° angled doors, heavily framed glass doors or unusual glass profiles.
