1. Is M68A2M supplied as one seal or a pair?
M68A2M is supplied as a pair. You will receive 2 magnetic shower door seals, designed to be fitted to two matching glass door edges.
2. What glass thickness does this seal fit?
This model is made for 6mm, 7mm and 8mm glass. It should not be forced onto thinner or thicker glass, as this may affect the grip and closing performance.
3. What does the 22mm gap refer to?
The 22mm gap refers to the recommended space between the two glass door edges when the doors are closed. M68A2M is best suited to an approx. 22mm gap.
4. Can I shorten the seals?
Yes. Each seal is 2000mm long and can be trimmed to suit your shower door height. Measure carefully before cutting.
5. Is this a push-fit seal?
Yes. The clear PVC channel presses directly onto the glass edge. It is not a slide-on seal and does not need to be slid in from the top or bottom.
6. Can this be used on sliding shower doors?
No. M68A2M is designed for straight 180° magnetic closing doors, not sliding shower doors.
Suitable Applications & Installation
M68A2M is designed for 180° magnetic closing shower doors where two glass edges close in a straight line. It is suitable for pivot, hinged, inward-opening and outward-opening shower doors, provided the glass thickness and gap match the specification.
For installation, remove the old seal, clean the glass edge, measure and trim each 2000mm piece to size, then press the clear PVC grip firmly onto the glass. Fit the second seal to the opposite door edge, making sure the black magnetic strips face each other and pull together when the doors close.
This product is for side magnetic sealing only. It is not suitable for sliding shower doors, bottom water seals, 90°/135° angled doors, heavily framed glass doors or non-standard glass profiles.
