5. Is it push-fit or a slide-on installation?
It is push-fit. The clear PVC grip presses directly onto the glass edge; it does not slide in from the end.
6. Is this suitable for sliding shower doors?
No. It is for straight 180° magnetic closing doors, not sliding shower doors.
Suitable Applications & Installation
M45A2M is suitable for 180° magnetic closing shower doors where two glass door edges meet in a straight line. It is commonly used on pivot, hinged, inward-opening and outward-opening shower doors where two glass edges close in a straight line.
The seal is easy to install with a clear soft PVC push-fit grip. Remove the old seal, clean and dry the glass edge, measure the required height, trim the seal to size, then press each piece onto the matching glass door edge. Make sure the black magnetic strips face each other so they can pull together when the doors close.
This product is for side magnetic sealing only. It is not suitable for sliding shower doors, bottom water seals, 90°/135° angled doors, heavily framed glass doors or non-standard glass profiles.
