This seal is suitable if:
- Your shower glass is 4mm, 5mm or 6mm thick.
- You need a replacement magnetic seal for a hinged or pivot shower door.
- The old magnetic seal remains on the opposite side and you are replacing only one strip.
- You want to reduce the risk of the new magnet repelling the existing magnetic strip because of polarity orientation.
- You need a strip up to 2000mm long.
Choose another seal if:
- Your glass is thicker than 6mm.
- You need a complete magnetic pair for two exposed glass edges.
- Your shower door requires a specific 90°, 135° or 180° glass-to-glass magnetic profile.
- Your old seal is fitted into a metal frame or T-slot rather than directly onto the glass.
- You need a bottom or non-magnetic side seal.
Single Magnetic Seal for Hinged and Pivot Shower Doors
M456D0 is a 2000mm magnetic replacement seal for 4–6mm shower glass, commonly used on hinged and pivot shower doors.
The clear PVC channel grips the glass edge, while the black magnetic section at the top of the profile provides the closing contact.
Unlike a conventional magnetic strip with only one fixed magnetic orientation, M456D0 incorporates both polarities within the magnetic section. This makes it particularly useful when replacing only one side of an existing magnetic shower door seal, as it reduces the risk of the new strip repelling the old one because the polarity is reversed.
The seal is supplied as one 2000mm strip and can be trimmed to the required door height before fitting.
