No. It is a self-adhesive secondary water barrier, designed to work on its own or alongside your existing seal.
Where should I fit it?
Fit it along the shower tray edge, threshold or bottom leak area where water escapes.
How long before I can use the shower?
Leave it for 7–10 hours before getting it wet.
Will my shower door catch on it?
Please check your door clearance before fitting to make sure the door opens and closes smoothly.
What surface can I stick it to?
Best applied to clean, smooth and dry shower trays or thresholds. Not recommended for rough, wet or heavily textured surfaces.

Product Description

The PV29 is a low-profile self-adhesive shower water barrier designed to help stop leaks at the bottom of shower doors, tray edges, thresholds and awkward corners.

Unlike a push-fit shower door seal, the PV29 sticks directly to the tray or threshold, making it ideal as a secondary barrier when your existing seal is not enough. At just 5mm high, it adds extra protection while keeping a neat, discreet finish.

For best results, clean and dry the surface thoroughly before fitting. If fitting near a shower bottom seal, allow a small 3–5mm overlap to help reduce corner leaks, but avoid excessive overlap as this may cause the door to catch. Make sure the ends sit tightly against the wall or corner, then leave the adhesive to cure for 7–10 hours before getting it wet.
