New seals can have high friction when dry.
Pro Tip: Apply a small amount of diluted washing-up liquid or shower gel to the 13mm wings. This allows the 2000mm strip to slide into the track "like silk." Once the moisture dries, the seal will remain firmly locked in place.
Is the 13mm width right for my door? ▼
This is our Wide-Track version. We recommend measuring the internal width of your aluminium frame's groove:
- 12mm – 14mm Groove: This ROT07 (13mm) will provide the perfect friction fit.
- 10mm – 11mm Groove: This may be too tight. Please choose our 11mm ROT08 Standard Fit instead.

2000mm is too long for my door—how do I trim it? ▼
No specialist saws are required. Due to our high-purity PVC, a pair of sharp kitchen scissors or garden secateurs will give a clean cut.
Installation Tip: Slide the seal in first, let it settle at the bottom, and then trim the excess from the top. This accounts for any slight stretching during the sliding process.
