This seal is suitable if:
- Your framed or folding shower door uses a side channel or retaining profile.
- Your existing seal has a cross-section close to 13mm wide and 9mm high.
- You need a soft strip to cushion contact between the door and frame.
- The seal is fitted along the side edge, rather than clipped directly onto bare glass.
- Your required finished length is 2000mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- You need a glass clip-on bottom seal.
- Your existing channel is much narrower or shallower than the dimensions shown.
- You need a long flexible fin to bridge a water gap.
- You need a magnetic closure or T-slot insert profile.
- Hinges, rollers or fittings prevent the strip from sitting correctly in the frame.
Product Details
ROT07 is a light grey PVC bumper seal for framed and folding shower doors, normally fitted along the side of the door or frame.
Its job is mainly to provide a softer contact point when the folding door closes or moves against the adjoining frame section. This helps reduce hard plastic or metal-to-metal contact and can also help take up a small amount of movement within the frame.
The profile measures approximately 13mm wide and 9mm high. These dimensions are the main checks when comparing ROT07 with an existing seal.
Because this is primarily a cushioning profile rather than a long water-sealing fin, it should be matched by the shape and dimensions of the original frame channel rather than by gap size alone.
Supplied in a 2000mm length and can be trimmed before fitting.
