Suitable Applications
The RY3537 is a buffer vertical shower seal designed specifically for sliding shower doors.
It combines a rigid transparent PVC channel with a flexible black PVC bubble cushion. The rigid channel grips the glass securely, while the soft cushion absorbs the impact as the sliding door reaches the closed position.
For this reason, RY3537 is recommended primarily for sliding shower doors rather than hinged, pivoting or folding doors.
Rather than sealing a large gap, the main purpose of this profile is to reduce noise, soften closing and help protect the glass edge from repeated contact during everyday use.
Because the bubble section is designed to compress, it is best suited to sliding door systems where the door regularly comes into contact with another surface as it closes.
The profile fits 8mm glass and is supplied in a 2000mm length, allowing it to be trimmed to suit the height of the door.
