Product Description & Suitable Applications

The S312DTL7 is mainly for awkward bottom-edge sealing jobs where a standard seal will not sit properly.

It works well for doors with bottom rollers, brackets, fittings or uneven clearance, helping reduce water escaping through gaps up to 25mm.

Because it sticks directly to the glass surface, it suits most glass thicknesses and is not limited by a fixed U-channel size.

For sliding doors with two overlapping glass panels, fit the S312DTL7 to the innermost panel, closest to the shower spray. On overlapping sliding doors, the D510 can be used alongside the S312DTL7 to help reduce water passing between the two glass panels.

This seal is not suitable for vertical side edges, magnetic closing edges, framed metal edges, guide rails, shower tracks or surfaces unsuitable for adhesive fitting.

Installation Notes

  1. Clean the glass with alcohol and let it dry fully.
  2. Test the position before removing the backing tape.
  3. Measure the required length and trim the seal if needed.
  4. Peel off the backing tape, then press the seal firmly onto the glass.
  5. Allow 7–10 hours for the adhesive to cure before using the shower.

FAQ

1. Will this work where a normal bottom seal will not fit?

Yes. This is the kind of job the S312DTL7 is made for.

If a clip-on or push-fit seal will not sit properly because of rollers, brackets, fittings or an awkward gap, this adhesive seal gives you another way to seal the bottom edge.

2. Does this seal fit different glass thicknesses?

Yes. The S312DTL7 sticks to the glass surface rather than clipping over the glass edge, so it is not limited to one glass thickness.

It can be used on most shower door glass thicknesses, as long as the glass surface is clean, flat and suitable for adhesive fitting.

3. What size gap can this seal cover?

The S312DTL7 can help reduce water escaping through uneven bottom gaps up to 25mm.

The flexible fin hangs down towards the shower tray or bath edge to help block water beneath the door.

4. Is this seal suitable for side use?

No. The S312DTL7 is not suitable for side use.

The flexible fin is designed to hang down from the bottom edge. It is not a vertical side seal, magnetic seal or magnetic closing seal.

5. How do I install this adhesive shower door seal?

Clean the glass with alcohol and let it dry fully.

Test the position before removing the backing tape.

Peel off the backing tape, then press the seal firmly onto the glass.

Allow 7–10 hours for the adhesive to cure before using the shower.
