This seal is suitable if:
- You need a bottom shower door seal.
- A normal push-fit seal cannot sit properly.
- Rollers, brackets or fittings interfere with the bottom edge.
- Your bottom gap is up to 25mm.
- You need an adhesive seal that sticks directly to the glass.
- Your required length is 1000mm or less.
Choose another seal if:
- You need a side, vertical or magnetic seal.
- A standard push-fit bottom seal fits your glass normally.
- Your gap is larger than 25mm.
- The glass surface is textured, wet or unsuitable for adhesive fitting.
Suitable Applications
S312DTL7 is designed for awkward shower door bottoms where hardware or uneven clearance prevents a standard clip-on seal from fitting correctly.
Because it sticks directly to the glass surface, it can be used with most glass thicknesses. The flexible fin helps reduce water escaping through bottom gaps up to 25mm.
For overlapping sliding shower doors, fit it to the innermost glass panel, closest to the shower spray.
Installation
- Clean the glass with alcohol and allow it to dry fully.
- Check the position carefully and trim the seal to length before removing the backing tape.
- Remove the backing tape and press the seal firmly onto the glass.
- For best adhesion, fit the seal once and avoid repeatedly removing and repositioning it.
- Leave the adhesive for 7–10 hours before using the shower.
