Fitting Guide
For best results, trim the fin so it is approximately 2–5mm longer than the actual gap.
Avoid leaving the fin excessively long. Too much contact with the shower tray or bath edge can create extra resistance when opening and closing the door, which may cause the seal to lift or reduce the adhesive strength.
Suitable Applications
V312S1235F-950 is a versatile self-adhesive shower door bottom seal for glass screens where a conventional push-fit profile may not be suitable.
The adhesive strip sticks directly to a smooth glass surface, making it suitable for straight, curved and irregular-shaped shower screens.
The flexible fin includes cutting lines and can be trimmed with small scissors to suit gaps of approximately 8–34mm.
Installation
- Clean the glass with alcohol and allow it to dry fully.
- Measure the bottom gap and trim the flexible fin to the required depth.
- Trim the 950mm strip to the required length.
- Check the position carefully before removing the backing tape.
- Peel off the backing and press the seal firmly onto the glass.
- Position it carefully the first time — repeatedly removing and refitting the seal can reduce the adhesive strength.
- Leave the adhesive for 7–10 hours before using the shower.
