This seal is suitable if:
- Your shower door uses an existing retaining track or channel.
- The track can accept an approximately 3mm retaining base.
- You need to close a gap of up to around 8mm.
- Your shower enclosure uses a sliding or folding framed door.
- You need a small flexible bubble profile that can compress against the adjacent frame or surface.
- You need up to 2000mm of seal.
Choose another seal if:
- Your track cannot accept the approximately 3mm base.
- Your gap is clearly larger than 8mm.
- Your old seal clips directly onto exposed glass.
- You need a magnetic closing seal.
- You need a larger bubble or longer flexible fin.
Small Bubble Seal for Framed Shower Doors
VD001 is a 2000mm clear PVC track-in seal for framed sliding and folding shower doors.
Its compact 3mm retaining base slides into a compatible channel, while the soft 8mm bubble section compresses against the adjacent frame or surface when the door closes.
This profile is suited to smaller gaps of up to approximately 8mm and is commonly used along the vertical edges of framed sliding or folding shower doors. Some compatible bottom tracks may also use the same type of insert seal.
The strip can be trimmed to the required length before fitting.
