This seal is suitable if:
- Your shower door uses an existing retaining track or channel.
- The track can accept an approximately 7mm retaining base.
- Your sealing gap is around 4–8mm.
- You have a framed sliding or folding shower door.
- You need a soft hollow bubble profile that compresses against the adjacent frame or surface.
- You need up to 2000mm of seal.
Choose another seal if:
- Your track is too narrow for the approximately 7mm base.
- Your gap is much smaller than 4mm or clearly larger than 8mm.
- Your old seal clips directly onto exposed glass.
- You need a magnetic closing seal.
- You need a larger bubble profile for a wider gap.
Bubble Seal for Framed Shower Doors
VD002 is a 2000mm clear PVC track-in seal for framed sliding and folding shower doors.
Its approximately 7mm retaining base slides into a compatible channel, while the soft 10mm bubble section compresses against the adjacent frame or surface when the door closes.
This profile is best suited to gaps of around 4–8mm, where a smaller bubble seal may not provide enough contact but a larger profile would be unnecessarily compressed.
It is commonly used along the vertical edges of framed sliding and folding shower doors, with some compatible bottom-track applications also possible.
The strip can be trimmed to the required length before fitting.
